Economic communities have concluded treaties or mandat agreements in which the industrial property is addressed to : European Union: (see the map) ; NAFTA: Canada, USA, Mexico MERCOSUR: Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay, Chile and Bolivia being associated members Andean Pact: Bolivia, Equador, Colombia, Venezuela, Peru Some countries have merged in order to grant an industrial property title by a unique procedure : African Regional Industrial Property Organization OAPI : Organisation Africaine de la Propriété Intellectuelle European Patent : Office, European Patent Convention, states of the European patent and extension states, map Eurasian Patent Patent Office of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf Unique territories grant unique titles for the whole territory : Benelux Union grants a unique title for the marks and the designs The European Union States form a unique territory for the Community mark (see the Community Regulations) and the Community Design, administred by the Office for the Harmonization in the International Market (OAMI) or for the community protection of the plant varieties (see the Community Regulations), administrated by the Community Plant Varieties Office (CPVO).
